How do I apply?

Fall 2024 students: All incoming first year, sophomore, transfer, and Bright College students, please click here for your personalized application form.

Fall 2025 students: Early decision applications are open for all incoming students arriving to Drake in fall 2025. Please use your Drake Admission log-in credentials to access the ALI application below:

All other students: Please reach out to Kristin Economos, Senior Director of the Adams Leadership Institute, at kristin.economos@qianji888.com to see if you are eligible to apply.

Why should I apply?

Students who participate in the Donald V. Adams Leadership Institute receive exclusive leadership training, personalized coaching appointments, professional development, peer mentoring, and scholarship opportunities. In addition, students who want to invest additional time applying their leadership skills can apply to be an ALI Peer Mentor; a paid student leadership role within the Institute as a junior or a senior. Most importantly, students in the Institute are given the opportunity to build community with other like-minded leaders on campus. Here’s what an ALI graduate had to say about their experience:
